How It Works
Art Share L.A. is a staunch believer that art should be accessible to everyone. Our two art galleries are designed to act as a springboard to the Los Angeles art world for emerging artists of all disciplines. We hope you will consider submitting your artwork through our twice-annually Open Call for Artists – by doing so, you will have joined the Art Share L.A. family!
Twice annually (in the spring and in the fall), Art Share asks you to send in 2 – 4 images, and fill out a simple form online – all for free! At the end of the open submission period, all entries are then juried to create our group gallery shows in our Main Gallery. The jury panel involves community members, Art Share L.A. staff, and artists, and most of the members are replenished on a regular basis to offer fresh perspective to the curation process.
Once you submit, you are automatically eligible for outside artist opportunities. You will also be added to our database and receive emails sharing exciting new jobs, artist resources, classes and more – again, all for free. Any submissions sent before or after the submission period will not be considered, as we process more than 300 submissions per call. Please do not email inquiries about early or late submissions, as they will not be answered. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is done to make our submission process as fair and efficient as possible for everyone.
