1. Art Share is an integral part of the arts in L.A. by serving artist, community groups, neighborhoods & visitors.
2. Art Share provides free art classes to low-income teens during the peak violence hours of 3:00-7:00 p.m.
3. Art Share provides students with acceptance, high expectations, affection and warmth. Opportunities to explore, create, contribute and belong. Helps build relationships with parents, relatives, teachers, coaches and other caring adults.
4. 89.9% of all teens that participate in Art Share Los Angeles programs graduate from high school.
5. Art Share exists to support empower and nurture, individuals, families and communities through the arts.

FUTURE ARTISTS
Ceramics $2000.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: Classes for two quarters: Clay, lead free glazes cone 6, brushes, pottery tools, aprons and spin wheels for the students.
Painting $5000.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: Classes for 2 quarters: Brushes, Prisma color pencils, spray paints, gesso, hanging wire and basic tools for stretching and framing canvas for students.
Community Beautification (Mural Making) $2,000.00 needed per year
Hardibacker board, mastic adhesive, Versabond adhesive, tiles, gloves, goggles, tile snips, Rotozip tool and tile cutting blades, wet saw for students.
Mosaic Furniture $2,000.00 needed per year
Hardibacker board, mastic adhesive, Versabond adhesive, tiles, gloves, goggles, tile snips, Rotozip tool and tile cutting blades, wet saw for students.
Beginning Graffiti Art and Mural Production $2,500.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: Spray paint, stenciling, ladders, gloves, aprons and goggles for students.

FUTURE POETS
Spoken word & Poetry $600.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: books, pens, pencils, writing tablets, and folders for the students.

FUTURE DANCERS
Hip Hop Dance, Street Jazz Dancing (2 classes), Salsa, Ballet $2,400.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: dance shoes, music, outfits, and ballet slippers for students.

FUTURE MUSICIANS
Guitar (3 classes per week) $3000.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: guitar strings, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, guitar picks, music stands, guitar books, sheet music, paper, pens and pencils for students.
BandJAM Student Concert $500.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: promotional materials for show – flyers, security, snacks, bass amp and upgraded speakers for performances only.

PERFORMANCE ARTISTS
Hip Hop Theatre $1500.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: writing tablets, writing utensils, music and drums for the students.
Afro Fusion Capoeira $1,500.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: Brazilian Instruments, martial arts dance pants and music for students.

NEW MEDIA
Media Design $10,000.00 needed per year
Your donation covers: Computers and software for the students.

Your donations directly supply at-risk youth with talents, positive hobbies, self esteem and confidence to create a stable platform for a lifetime.

As a nonprofit, Art Share functions solely upon the conditions of in kind donations and awarded grants. Keep us alive by donating to ART SHARE’S GENERAL FUND!
The General Fund donations are split between security, electricity and sewage bills, building upkeep, general overhead, four full time staff salaries and transportation.
