There are many ways to get involved with Art Share. Currently we need volunteer support in these areas:
graphic design, website design, administrative assistance, all ages show support, database entry and tutoring.

Specifically, we currently need two tutors who can commit to two hours per week. Any kind of ESL experience is helpful but not mandatory.

On an ongoing basis, Art Share needs volunteers. We welcome you to join us in shaping lives through art, education and community action.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Art Share seeks volunteers of all ages who can: – contribute to 10 Year Anniversary celebration planning – patch and paint walls – mentor one young person or participate in a class – enter information into a database – join the BandJAM team in producing all ages shows.

If you are an artist or musician who wants to share knowledge with young people, an educator with skills to lend, a contractor or developer willing to help with facility improvements or an activist who understands the value of what Art Share offers the community.

Art Share is currently taking interviews for Office Assistant Internships. These positions are for people who would like to like to gain skills in nonprofit management within a fast-paced work environment. We are looking for a six month commitment. Only serious candidates should call 213-687-4272. This is a volunteer (unpaid) position to gain experience and simultaneously give back to the community by organizing Art Share’s supportive efforts.
