Following the wildly successful Made In LA event, Golden Road Brewing generously donated $18,000 to Art Share LA! Our Gallery Program Manager, Katie Frager, got to sit down with Liz from Golden Road’s marketing team to not only thank them for the donation, but to also learn more about the Brewery and reveal where those funds will be utilized within Art Share’s programming.
On Saturday, August 11th at 11:00AM join Art Share L.A. as we host our first tour of the DTLA Arts District’s stunning mural collection. This project is in collaboration with Cartwheel Art Tours and benefits Art Share L.A.’s dope programming.
Art Share L.A. rang in the New Year on July 1, 2018 when our fiscal year started. At that time, we voted in two new board members and mixed up our leadership team!
On Thursday, April 26th, the Anna Broome Room celebrated 5 years at Art Share L.A.
“Hidden Rooms” was the first in the ART AT THE RENDON series, an on-going multi-disciplinary program bringing art, musical performances, lectures, artist residencies and film screenings to the local community at the former Rendon Hotel.
Almost five years have passed since Art Share L.A. first opened Calls for Submissions, and now, we are evolving once again! In addition to a new Gallery Committee, we are changing our submission process, ensuring more representation and diversity for future shows.
On Tuesday, June 5th, over 200 artists lined up outside of Art Share’s loading dock to drop off their artworks, making it one of the most successful open call events Art Share has witnessed. The drop-off was a ‘first come, first serve’ basis which offered artists of all levels an opportunity to showcase their work(s).
‘I, PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE’ is an intimate immersive theatre piece about fear, politics, and secret societies. Premiering June 7th and running for two weekends, this show will offer theatre goers an experience they’ve never had before.
