Burning Bright: The Strength, Struggle, & Survival of L.A. Artists
March 1 - May 17
About
Art Share L.A. proudly presents Burning Bright: The Strength, Struggle, and Survival of L.A. Artists, an exhibition curated by Anne Martin of Sugar Press Art, on view in our perimeter gallery from March 1 through May 17, 2025.
Burning Bright is a testament to the resilience of the artists who have faced destruction head-on, particularly those affected by the devastating L.A. fires.
Burning Bright is more than a print exhibition; it is a fundraiser dedicated to supporting the artists who have been directly impacted by the fires. Proceeds from sales will go toward the Pelayo Foundation’s fire relief fund, ensuring that those who give so much to the cultural fabric of L.A. have the resources to continue their work.
Featuring artists: Gregory Clewlow, Baha H. Danesh, Sharky Edwards, Haydee Escobar, Gibran Evans, Jim “TAZ” Evans, Franceska Gámez, Gabe Gault, Juan Carlos Muñoz Hernandez, Plastic Jesus, Augustine Kofie, Hugh Kretschmer, Mary Lai, Samatha Litzsinger, Amanda Lynn, Colette Miller, Ana Morales-Huerta, Gloria Muriel, MAN ONE, MEAR ONE, Estevan Oriol, Antonio Pelayo, Isaac Pelayo, Francesca Quintano, RISK,Marco Saiz, Amy Smith, Guerin Swing, Chloe Trujillo, Joshua Wattles, and Erin Yoshi
