Filipino-American Youth Wellness Comic Book Exhibit
July 11 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
About
The Human Beauty Movement invites you to a special exhibit of student work from our Filipino-American Youth Wellness Comic Book Workshops. This unique program helps educate, empower, and heal the rising generation of Filipino-American youth in Los Angeles through the power of storytelling and illustrations.
Our students are provided education and resources about mental health issues and introduced to the art of comic book development to help normalize conversations around mental health and promote healthy expression through art.
The exhibit showcases Filipino-American student stories of resilience, compassion, self-love, and inner strength through delightfully creative comic book art.
Light snacks and beverages will be served, and admission is free!
