Method and Mystery is a signpost for writers about how our creative mechanism works and how to harness it to write more original, astonishing work. Complete with a generous stack of ready-to-use lessons, both fledging writing instructors and serious poetry writers will find resources to move deeper into their creative bliss.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind book launch where The Poetry Salon presents a roster of local poetry celebrities and new writers, a little light opera, some seriously nerdy comedy about the history of literature, creative writing games, food, wine, and chocolate galore!!! Hear from noted scribes Michelle Bitting, Ernesto Cepeda, Alicia Elkhort, and Douglas Manuel. We also will reveal the winners of our first ever poetry contest – The New Poet’s Prize and The Practiced Poet’s Prize – who will receive $100 each and read their winning entries.
