The Martians

This concert features a group called “The Martians” consisting of oboe, clarinet, violin, harp, piano, synthesizer and two double basses. They will perform the following pieces:
1). “Nexus: Music for a Shadow Animation”- Composed and conducted by Patrick Gibson in partial fulfillment of his doctoral dissertation.
2). “Mars Chamber Symphony”-also composed and conducted by Patrick Gibson.
The event will also feature a 3rd piece (titled “Voices from the High Desert”) for piano and electronics composed by Christian Dubeau and Christine Lee.
