This June, Art Share L.A. held The Comeback Fest 2023, a community festival highlighting emerging artists in Los Angeles.
On Saturday, June 24th, over 2,200 people were able to come together for a free, all ages community festival in the Arts District, to enjoy some of the best emerging visual and performing art in the city. The Comeback Fest highlighted over 100 artists across multiple disciplines, featuring musical performances, film, poetry, dance, street art installations and live painting!
We had people dancing in the streets to performances by Jackie Mendoza, Quinto Sol, The Paranoias, and Troy Five. Spoken word performances by poets Beth May, Frank Escamilla and Matthew Cuban enlivened Art Share L.A.’s theater. Planet Queer put on a variety show not to be forgotten, and we got to experience live painting by Izinfinite, Ely Lok, Revel2XL, Wenz Q, Speker, Ms Yellow and more!
“This all-ages community festival celebrating the creative impulse features live music, dance poetry and DJs on two stages, plus live painting demos and art activations, vendor booths and more.”
