On November 10th, Art Share held its opening reception for Gratefulness, a show celebrating all we have to be thankful for in life. By resolutely affirming the positive and beauty in our daily lives, our gallery was filled with a spirit of graciousness that touched every visitor and artist alike.

The show featured an eclectic group of local artists, each with their own unique approach, whose work complemented and strengthened the central theme of Gratefulness. From impasto oil paintings to digital art prints, ink and graphite panels to paper and fabric creations, our walls sung in harmony thanks to the amazing artists who submitted and our Gallery Committee who curated the show.
For almost half of the artists, this was their first time showing in a Gallery, and we could not be happier it was with us.

Art Share also partnered with multiple organizations which shared in the spirit of gratefulness for the opening. Gratuity Included, associated with artist Human and friend Ashley Mui, set up a booth at the entrance and greeted guests while selling goodie bags and spreading love. Monique of the Los Angeles Community Action Network set up a lemonade stand made from organic lemons and sage harvested from her urban garden in downtown (it was delicious). Lastly, Cafe Gratitude graciously brought a trio of appetizers to offer to patrons and artists which flew off the plates.
Altogether, it was an amazing night at Art Share and hopefully provided a safe environment for people to take a moment and reflect on what truly matters in life, and what we are most grateful for.
