A commemoration of the new mural in celebration of Mikael B who brought Art Share’s vision to life.
We are so excited to team up with some amazing Arts District bars for Art Share’s annual “Shooze & Booze” bar crawl. Proceeds from the $15 tickets support Art Share L.A. programming.
Many have called him Jason or J.J., but around here we called him The Maverick! John joined Art Share L.A. in March 2013 and quickly assumed the role as Art Share L.A.’s ever-reliable Go-To Man.
Art Share L.A.’s downtown LA space at 4th & Hewitt has one of the most recognizable exteriors in the city since international artist INSA adorned its walls with his signature aesthetic in 2012. Now, they’ve chosen Mikael B to create the next mural for Art Share’s high-profile, 9,300 square foot facade. This will be one of the largest murals in Los Angeles.
On Saturday, January 13, 2018, Art Share L.A. hosted the Untitled, gallery opening from 7-10PM. The show was curated by Paige Wery and co-curated by Shana Nys Dambrot. Almost all of the artists displayed in the group show were on-site for this occasion. The show will run through February 4, 2018.
